【摘要】:Thecrystallinityofpetroleumcoke,asreflectedbytheLcvalue,isageneralmeasureofqualityaffectingsuitabilityforenduseandisafunctionoftheheattreatment.Thecrystallitethicknessisusedtodeterminetheextentofsuchheattreatment,forexample,duringcalcination.ThevalueoftheLcdeterminedisnotaffectedbycokemicroporosityorthepresenceofforeign,non-crystallinematerialssuchasdedustoil.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthemeancrystallitethicknessofarepresentative,pulverizedsampleofcalcinedpetroleumcokebyinterpretationofaX-raydiffractionpatternproducedthroughconventionalX-rayscanningtechniques.1.2Calcinedpetroleumcokecontainscrystallitesofdifferentthicknesses.ThistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheaveragethicknessofallcrystallitesinthesamplebyempiricalinterpretationoftheX-raydiffractionpattern.Thecrystallitediameter(La)isnotdeterminedbythistestmethod.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSI(metric)unitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundunitsgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationpurposesonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
