【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversanimmunologicalmethodtodeterminetheamountofantigenicproteininnaturalrubberanditsproductsusingrabbitantiseraspecificfornaturalrubberlatex(NRL)proteins.Thisimmunoassayprocedurequantitativelymeasuresthelevelofantigeniclatexproteinsinsolutionusinganinhibitionformat.Thesamplesmayincludegloveorotherrubberproductextractswhichhavebeencollectedinordertomeasurethelatexproteinlevels.Althoughthismethoddetectsantigenicproteins,itshouldnotbeconsideredasameasureofallergenicproteins.Correlationofprotein/antigenlevelswiththelevelofallergenicproteinshasnotbeenfullyestablished.1.2Forthepurposeofthistestmethod,therangeofproteinwillbemeasuredintermsofmicrogramtomilligramquantities.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
